<div itemprop="description">It is with sadness that the family of Edmond James Valin announces his death on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at the age of 75 years. Edmond will be dearly missed by his wife and best friend of 50 years, Letitia and his children, Martha, Edmond (Lisa), Genevieve, Sarah (Michael), Clare and Elizabeth. He will be lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren, Madeleine, Genevieve, Olivia and Henry, and his many friends and relatives. Edmond was born in Toronto to the late Eddie and Margaret Valin. A graduate of St. Michael's College School and the University of Windsor, he had a long career in the public service before retiring from Ryerson University. Edmond enjoyed his cottage, winters in Panama City Beach, Florida, and trips to Europe. But he cherished time with his family most of all. He was a man of Faith and a gentleman. His family is eternally grateful for his love and guidance. There will be no viewing. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John's Catholic Church, 794 Kingston Rd., Toronto, ON at 9:00a.m. on Monday September 14, 2015. <br /> <br />"Mary love you and Joseph keep you"</div>
