Welch, Elliott Alexander – September 24, 1956 – July 10, 2016
Peacefully, on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences at the age of 59. Loving husband and best friend of Cathy for 35 years. Son of Mary Welch and the late John. Brother of Joe (Heather), Judi (Nick), Margaret (Brian), Glenn (Laurie) and the late Mary Elizabeth (Ron) and Bill (Kathy). Brother-in-law of Linda (Calvin). Cherished Uncle to Renee, Adam, Larissa, Andrea, Rebecca, Kevin, McKenzie and John. Great uncle to Nicola and John. Elliott was a long-time employee of The Beer Store having recently passed the 30 year mark. The past 4½ years have been a tough go, but he bore it tenaciously with his sense of humour always intact. A Visitation will be held at McDougall & Brown, 2900 Kingston Road in Scarborough on Saturday, July 23 at 12:00 noon followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. If desired, donations can be made to the charity of your choice or The Terry Fox Foundation.
