<div itemprop="description">JOSEPH IRVINE <br />August 31, 1924 - September 5, 2013 <br />Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre at the age of 89. <br /> <br />Ex-husband of Alice Stewart; father of Joseph, Michael, Patrick, Paul, Kelly, Kevin, Jacqueline and Casey; beloved grandfather. <br /> <br />WWII Veteran RCAF, baseball coach, former scout NY Yankees and NY Mets, former CFRB road reporter, drummer, boxer. <br /> <br />Sincere thanks to Sunnybrook VC's doctors, nurses and care-givers for their unwavering kindness and compassion in Dad's final years. <br /> <br />In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Sunnybrook Foundation &quot;Veterans Comfort Fund&quot;. <br /> <br />Visitation from 12-1pm on Saturday, September 21, 2013 with a memorial service to follow at 1:00pm at the McDougall and Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Rd., 416-267-4656.
