Bourque, Lionel Joseph Jean
Passed away on May 3rd, 2016, at the age of 77, surrounded by his family at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. Born in Cocagne, New Brunswick son of the late Emilien and Elise (Cormier) Bourque. He leaves behind his beloved wife Delvina (LeBouthillier) Bourque; Three children whom he so loved: Linda (Barry), Gisèle (Bill), and Maurice (Linda); Five grandchildren for whom he adored: Christopher, Douglas, Kevin, Nicole and Megan; Five brothers: Alonzo (Eva), the late Hector (Françoise), Jean-Paul (Darice), Roger (Janice), Louis-Philippe (Lisa); Seven sisters: Edith (Ovila), Thérèse (Omer), Dorine (late Guy), Jeannita (late Gerald), Marie (Regean), Lorraine (Jean-Guy), and Pauline (Antoine). Lionel will always be remembered in our hearts for his sense of humour, his gentle nature, his kindness and love for all those around him, his enjoyment of playing cards and his passion for the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Blue Jays. The family extends a very special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Sunnybrook Hospital and Palliative Care Unit for all their kind and tender care of Lionel.
