William "Bill" Fox
April 27, 1951 - February 1, 2016
William “Bill” Fox passed away, after a “knock down” fight with lung cancer, with his family by his side on February 1, 2016 at the age of 64. He recently retired from Canada Post in June 2015.
Bill is lovingly remembered by his wife of many years Luann, daughters, Karen (Ian) and Kimberly (David), his Mother Margaret, his Mother in Law Lois and his grandchildren Zachary, Dylan, Hunter and Grayden, his brothers Bobby (Mary), Jamie (Pat), Johnny and his sister Margaret (Ron); all his nieces and nephews, his brother in law Michael (Marilyn), his very close friend June, and best bud, Sam, his dog.
Bill loved all aspects of life. He spent many hours on the lake enjoying watersports, singing, relaxing, cruising and enjoying a “cold” beer. He was a pool shark and avid golfer, following the pro circuit. He loved his Oldies, and his Toys, especially his Harley, and ‘57 Chevs. He loved to belt out his favorite songs with anyone whom would participate.
A visitation will be held at the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home “Scarborough Chapel”, 2900 Kingston Rd. (east of St. Clair Ave. E.) on Monday, February 8 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, February 9 at 1 p.m. Burial will take place at Resthaven Memorial Gardens following service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
