<div itemprop="description">Rava, Laila born July 12, 1938 in Riga, Latvia; passed away peacefully in her sleep Tuesday May 3, 2016 at the Scarborough General Hospital, after a brave battle with cancer. <br>Daughter of the late Valentins and Hermine Pavuls; dear sister to the late Valentins Jr.; Ex-wife to the late Andy Rava and loving mother to the late Robert Rava. <br>Laila will be sadly missed by her children Erik, and Peter (Riina), and grandchildren Rachel, Jonah, and Joshua, and loving brother Andy (Phyllis) Pavuls; niece Monica McKay and nephew Valentins Pavuls. <br>Visitation will be held from 7-9 pm Thursday at the McDougall and Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Rd., 416-267-4656. <br>A Chapel Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday at the funeral home. A reception to follow. <br>In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. <br></div>
